How To Sell

At Whisky Auction House, we ensure prompt payment for your whisky sales. Our goal is to complete the payment within 7 to 14 days following the auction's conclusion. Payments will be processed as swiftly as possible. You will receive your payment through the method you selected upon registration with the site.

Note:  Depending on your payment method and location, charges will vary.  See our list of fees for further details.  

All applicable seller fees will be deducted from the hammer price before payment is made to the seller. This will include any additional customs charges incurred.

Please note - VAT applicable to all charges

Bottle Registration - £5 per item per auction.
Reserve Fee - (optional) - £5 per lot per auction. 
There is currently 0% Sellers Commission.

SELLER PAYOUT

Please Note - Whisky Auction House are not obligated to pay the seller until the buyer has paid in full.

Sellers will be paid the proceeds of their sale only after the winning bidder has paid in full and the payment has cleared.

Payouts are made within 14 days of confirmed receipt of buyer funds.

In cases where a buyer fails to pay within the specified timeframe, the sale will be cancelled and the item relisted in a future auction.

Whisky Auction House Ltd will make every reasonable effort to collect payment from the buyer, but is not liable for failed or incomplete sales due to buyer default.
