Description

Hailing from the celebrated family-owned distillery in the Kingdom of Fife, this Daftmill 2009 has been aged for an impressive 13 years in a single Oloroso sherry butt (No.26). Being a farm distillery, Daftmill places great emphasis on the quality of barley used in their whisky. For this particular bottling, Daftmill grown Optic barley was harvested in August 2006 and malted in Alloa during the summer of 2007. Bottled at a cask strength of 60.2%, this UK exclusive release was limited to just 630 individually numbered bottles. It is unchill-filtered and presented at its natural colour.

With a production capacity of 20,000 litres of alcohol per year, Daftmill is one of the smallest single malt Scotch distilleries in Scotland.
