Description

The Fettercairn Fasque is a rare and sought-after single malt Scotch whisky from the Fettercairn distillery, located in the Highland region. This expression was launched alongside another non-age statement whisky called Fior during a rebranding of the distillery's core range in 2010. Both Fasque and Fior were discontinued and replaced by a new 12-year-old expression in 2018.

Named after a nearby country estate, the Fettercairn Fasque is bottled at 42% ABV and is known for its rich and complex flavor profile. On the nose, you'll find notes of baking spices, dried fruits, poached pears, and a hint of oak. The palate offers flavours of toffee, oak spice, vanilla, and subtle mocha notes. The finish is medium in length, with raisins and sultanas reappearing.

This whisky is a great addition to any collection, especially for those who appreciate the unique character of Fettercairn's single malts.
