The Macduff 15 Year Old from Lady of the Glen is a remarkable single malt Scotch whisky, distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2024. This expression is part of the Lady of the Glen range, known for its exceptional quality and limited releases. The whisky is matured in a hogshead and finished for 20 months in a first-fill Pedro Ximénez (PX) cask, which imparts a lovely sweetness without the strong tannins typically associated with this type of cask.


The Macduff 15 Year Old offers a medium-bodied, sweet distillate with nutty and spice notes. On the palate, you'll find flavours of dried fruit, dark chocolate, and muscovado sugar, making it a delightful and complex whisky.This limited release is a treasure for collectors and connoisseurs alike, with only 271 individually numbered bottles available.

Macduff Distillery

Macduff Distillery, founded in 1960, is located in the picturesque fishing port of Macduff in Aberdeenshire. Designed by architect William Delme-Evans, it is known for its efficient and functional design. Over the years, the distillery has changed ownership several times and is now part of Bacardi's portfolio under John Dewar & Sons.
