Mackinlay

Mackinlay's is a storied Scotch whisky brand with a rich history dating back to 1815. It is best known for its association with polar explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton, who took 25 cases of Mackinlay's Rare Old Highland Malt on his 1907 expedition to the South Pole. The brand has produced various types of whisky, including blended Scotch, vatted malt, and single malt.

Mackinlay's whiskies are crafted using a blend of malt and grain whiskies aged for at least five years and bottled at 40% ABV. The brand's most famous expression, the Mackinlay's Shackleton Rare Old Highland Malt, was recreated from bottles found at Shackleton's Antarctic base camp in 2007. This whisky is known for its light honey colour, soft and elegant aroma, and harmonious taste.
